The toxic metal in the water is likely a vestige of days gone by when farmers and ranchers would use it indiscriminately to ward off insects. Today, it means the 47-year-old's household of five adults and two children can't drink or cook with what comes out of the tap.

I am a distributor for Multi-Pure Water filtration systems.
Not to step on Bob, but None of the Equinox, or viatsalus products are NSF Certified.
There is only 1 Water Filter System that is Certified for Arsenic Reduction and that is the Multi-Pure 880 model.
When searching for a water filter, be very wary of companies claiming NSF certified "components". This does not mean the unit is NSF certified.
Be sure to check with NSF at www.NSF.org for information on Certified water filtration systems before spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on a product or company that can not stand behind their claims.
Also, always look for the product NSF certification "performance data" and specification sheet on the contaminants reduced and the percentage of contaminant reduction. If you can not find the performance data on a company's website, then they are most likely unscrupulous.
For more information you may call me direct or visit my website: www.purestdrinkingwater.com for more information on Arsenic.
